Carmen's scars are 18 months old and if you are stroking her and not looking, you can't really tell where they are.

I'm going to second that one. It does look very much like baytril scarring. Good look cass. Boas don't "scar" like we do. The "scars" will smooth out to a visual only after a year at the most. Since they have scales, and not skin, they don't scar like we think of scarring. My big normal girl, Hestia, has "scarring" on her nose from a slight nose rub. It's never gone away, but it isn't noticeable to the touch at all. It's all visual now.
