Am I the only one that feels this way?

honestly, i haven't noticed anymore sarcasm or insults than usual... there's always going to be someone that gets upset or frustrated and says exactly what they think. and that's gonna upset other people and so on....

Lately I've been noticing that a lot of the posts and responses have been ladled with sarcasm or anger. It seems like every time I read a thread, someone has something harsh to say. Am I the only one noticing this?

I tend to joke around alot and it always comes from a desire to laugh, not from negativity or at someone else's expense mind you, I just like to be a big silly goof. However what might be a harmless little comment to me can sometimes be taken as offensive to someone else. I certainly hope if that happens people will remind me to take my medication. Once I'm back to normal I'm actually a very nice guy.

I have noticed it...but you just have to take it in stride. Usually the people that start a lot of trouble, or mostly argue, will get tired of it and quit posting, or not post as often. With many schools starting back up, I think that may get rid of some of it as well....there won't be as many bored people just looking for something to post.


On a side note

"I could care less" means that you actually care. It's "I couldn't care less".

I haven't met anyone else that notices this!!! I'm not usually big on grammar and whatnot, but I have a very hard time not correcting people on this one!

I'm generally nice. It does get frustrating to read 3 thread in a row titled "LAWLS IS MY PeTZ a NORMAL I THINK NOT!?". Those just get annoying in mass quantities like they have been.

Other than that I'm a nice person and I do like to joke around a lot.

Any place where you have people from different backgrounds and different beliefs your always going to have conflict. Like Judy said it comes and goes... always will... I'm curious as to when ignorant became a bad word? We're all ignorant in one way or another so people need to have a thicker skin when coming on here and posting. I dont agree with a good portion of what I read on here but rather than starting a ruckous, which in the end will not change a single thing... I just move along.

I realize that not everyone will always get along. My point is, even if we're from different backgrounds or whatever, we should still be able to refrain from name-calling and generally being rude to each other.

Whatever happened to "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" ? Seriously...
