Even considering force feeding in the same sentence as live is crazy. You have so many things to try before force feeding. As far as I am concerned, you should feed live a good four or five times (even more) before trying to feed frozen. I have the plan to get my guys well established and up over 200 grams before switching to frozen. It worked with my pastel and woma. Neither has refused a frozen thawed rat yet (let alone live). Your snake should be able to handle live rat puts easily. Any pet store that carries snakes should have live rat pups for sale.
