    Re: Juno or Sweeny Todd?

This is probably a little late but I just watched Sweeny Todd tonight and it was fantastic. It didn't have a happy ending!

If Tim Burton meets Moulan Rouge sounds intruiging to you check this movie out.

I thought Juno sucked. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. I left wishing I had spent my $8 on something else. I thought it was boring and not very funny. I never liked the girl's character and the story was so-so. I really don't see how it's getting such good reviews.

    Re: Juno or Sweeny Todd?

Juno was awesome. And its obviously getting good reviews for a reason. And Its titled as a Dark comedy for a reason, not everyone gets it. I loved the movie personally and i'm glad people are putting social issues on the big screen. It portrayed a realist situation handled in a realistic way. Though the Jennifer Garner role was weak and I personally cant stand the woman.

Sweeney Todd was ridiculous. By far my favorite slasher film now, though I did see the musical a long while back and it cant touch a live show.

I thought that juno was excellent. I saw it last night. I think one of the reasons that I really liked it was that I could relate to it. It was one of those movies that I was glad my girlfriend was there with me though.

Is it wrong that I relate to Sweeny Todd?

Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch I'm joking.

Juno is a really cute, strange movie. They got the perfect actors for it, for sure! :p

And for a person who has a phobia against tight or sharp things over my throat.. I can't say I "Loved" Sweeney Todd, and Johnny was kinda weird in a musical like that.. but overall, I think it was all right.
