part of my balls belly is really pink

I just put him on news paper for the first time. and the little poop dumped his dish right after i left him alone and spent the night in a soaked tub lol

Anyway I picked him up and the bottom 10 inches of his belley was a dark pink.

I noticed pink coloring to the water i drained out of it so I figure there must of been a colored ad somewhere on the paper i put in there.. I hope

Could this be something else? If it was for the tinge to the water i would be more worried

no i dont have a camera here. but since ALL the white part of his belly the the last 8-10 inches is a deep pink and from touch It feels no different then the white of his belly. I do think doofy whent and dyed his belly red. Should I paint a yellow "U" on him and name him "UnderSnake" ? Theres no need to fear, Under Snake is here!

... unless theres something i should be worried about. Temps are good. and humidty was super high since he dumped his dish but that was maybe 12hr's I have seen him soak for longer then that with no ill effect.

Well...do you have colored newspaper in there that got wet? Particularly, maybe a big blotch of red ink that got wet? If so, that's likely. I've heard plenty of stories about newspaper ink getting on snakes. Keepers of white and light colored snakes hate that about using newspaper as a substrate.

Just think he looks funny. Wonder how many layers of pink he is? lol
