Re: My BP and my dog bonding :D (DUW)
I'd say no on that one. No licking. Bad dog. -lol-
I love the 5th picture. It looks like the rich chick from Disney Channel's Suite Life of Zack and Cody when she goes, "Yay me!"

well, unless you don't mind your dog getting salmonella, i'd say licking is a bad idea...

Dangling the snake near the dog is a bad idea. The dog could snap at it, thinking it's a toy. Only takes one time.

That's one way to end up with a dead bp.... there is no such thing as snakes and dogs bonding.
Your best off keeping the two apart for the bp's sake

It is very rare to catch salmonella from any reptile... a myth that has hurt the industry.
But I agree... if the snake would get spooked and snap at the dog, the dog's going to snap back. Dead snake.

Yeah, I was worried about the salmonella thing, but have there actually been any cases on these boards? I always wash my hands and all, but I'm sure there might have been once or twice I forgot, or maybe a friend of mine didn't wash his/her hands.
Also, I don't dangle my bp infront of the dog. She adores my BP. It's kinda funny because my BP was ON my arm and stretched down towards the dog, who is actually pretty scared of small lizards (lol) but in this case she loves Buddy She is also a very calm and smart dog. For example when I first take out the snake she gets excited and tries to sniff him, but once I tell her not to, I can easily set the snake on the floor. She won't even approach.

If you have to ask,...
What is freaky, though, is that it looks like you broke into our house, played with Mrs. Snake and our dog, get this, named "Buddy". Though your dog is small, like our last dog, "Onions". Our Buddy is medium-sized. Even the tip of your leather furniture looks familiar. WEIRD!
