I was intending to keep a couple of females from this litter anyways as her mother is a top producer for me so her unique markings just popped her to the top of that short list anyways.I'm starting to keep back new females this time of year in preparation for our growing need for feeders come spring/early summer. When possible I like to raise my own next generation female breeders and bring in fresh blood to the rat colony via buying males from outside sources.
