I don't know a safe way you could pass these on if you don't know the person. If you are a steady customer at the store, you will undoubetly see him again so just slipping him a paper with these numbers/URL might not be so simple.

Snakes, on the other hand, don't have any hotlines or URLs to seek help from abusive owners/pet store attendants. I'm quite concerned with how the snake was treated that was dropped. The pet store attendant actually tried to forcibly uncoil it, and then was surprised when it attempted to tag her?

Gah...

Don't beat yourself up for not saying anything at the time. Clearly you feel regret for not doing so... but there is always tomorrow. You can make a focused effort on confronting this person, nicely, in the future. Regret only what you can't change, work toward correcting the things you can.

Actually, maybe it was a blessing in disguise that you didn't say anything at the moment. This way, you have the ability to sit down and plan out the best way of educating this person without being put on the spot and being forced to speak off the top of your head. Go in with a game plan!
sounds like a plan.

yeah the employee started pulling the snake out from its coils to show the customer the size i presume.

too bad the snake didnt latch on to her, it maybe then could have saved itself the fall. although id hate to see what that lady would do having a snake latched on to her hand.

i wonder how resistant these animals are to falls? i never got a good look after the fall, but i highly doubt the pet store would be able to realize if the snake has a broken rib or something.
