    Bator fan or no fan

Hay guy's I built an incubator out of a full size fridge. I used a 4foot by 11 inch piece of flexwatt it goes al the way down from the top of the fridge. Would you guy's still use a fan even though it goes all the way down? I was thinking the temp's might be a little more stable cause of the tape's coverage.

Re: Bator fan or no fan

I would still use a fan as the temps will always be warmer in the vicinity of the heat tape and also in the containers closest to the heat tape. The fan will insure that the temperature of the circulated air is stable all around the containers.

I'm also thinking about putting fans in mine. What would be the best way to hook them up? I mean so I dont have to run over and turn on and off every hour or so. Or how long would I have to leave them running or could I just leave them on all the time?
