Re: The official "What did you get for Christmas?" thread

I am getting a yet-undecided BP morph sometime in Jan-Feb. I do not mind waiting I will most-likely go Mojave, but might get an orange ghost/het o.g.
I got my husband a Rolex watch; got a great deal on it, right place, at right time, type of thing. He can wear it now that he is no longer doing messy jobs (although, tattooing can be pretty messy with certain customers!)

Re: The official "What did you get for Christmas?" thread

This was a great Christmas, we missed family this year, it was the first in many years that my wife and I spent here in Florida.

I got my self a Tom Tom, bought it on Black Friday from Amazon, ridicules deal that I could not pass up....

I got Andrea an hour long massage at a spa down the street and a soap making kit she wanted.

Ethan got a bizzian gifts between his birthday the 15th and Christmas. He is now officially walking 15 to 20 feet at a time before falling. Busted his lip pretty good this morning on the coffee table, blood all over his Santa outfit.

I hope all had a great safe holiday.... Looking forward to 2008 as there are going to be some huge changes for us, that I'll keep you all updated on......

My BF got a book on game design he's been wanting a while, some homemade baklava from my mom, and "Ratatoullie" and "At World's End" DVDs from me

It's a White Christmas here in Denver, so we also have the gift of silence outside...ahh.
What time is Ratatoullie and LEAVE me some baklava .Its what comes from the heart and not the wallet that really counts

A year subscription to the Reptiles magazine and a NOAH (Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists) membership. Pretty random, no? But the NOAH membership is a pretty good gift in my opinion (if you exclude the randomness factor).

Re: The official "What did you get for Christmas?" thread

My family is in NC - so I drove up last Wednesday, and we exchanged gifts on Saturday, as I had to drive back Sunday to work on Monday.

It was a modest Christmas for us all. From my parents I got printer ink (color and black), honey with the honeycomb in it, tea, a fire extinguisher (not sure what made them get that), an electronic rubik's cube game, wheel covers, a new tire, and flannel sheets.

My grandmother and my aunt and uncle both gave me some money, my brother is a photographer and had one of his photographs professionally framed for me.

Karl gave me a scarf/glove/hat set, some clothes, a coffee mug and a shelving unit.

I got a great deal on a Garmin for my parents - their faces when they opened it was the best part of Christmas for me!

Karl and I tried going to the movies today around 1, only to find that on Christmas, they were starting after 4, so we stopped at Hollywood video and picked up some videos, stopped at Waffle House for lunch, and we'll heat up the Boston Market dinner I picked up yesterday. It's been a very cold, rainy day today - which we are thankful for the rain, the warm roof over our head and the chance to just be together.

We also went to a beautiful Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service at our local Methodist church last night which we have always wanted to do each Christmas but have never done before.
