That is what I was thinking. Move the whole gang in, then say to your husband, "Wow, there's some space here that needs filling. Maybe we can build a custom rack here that could have the equivalent to a few 55 longs."

Trust me he knows that I will have no problem filling up this room even if it takes time

Re: New snake room finally finished
That is a very nice room. If I were to get nit-picky, I would advise caulking or filling in any gap between the floor and floorboard. This is just from a personal observation. I installed flooring in our bathroom (yes, myself.. unfortunately) and never caulked. So water can get under the floor.. luckily it is just another similar floor underneath that we plan on replacing anyway, that is caulked.. but just an observation. I would also want to add a utility sink for tub cleaning, unless you have one outside the room.. but I am just playing vicarious-snake-room-developer, as my own snake room is nowhere near a drain or sink and I have to walk through the kitchen :gasp!:
Your hubby is top-notch to help build such a beautiful room for you!

And wow! 400-odd square feet. I know a few people whose whole houses were smaller than that! Nice!
