Re: The 8Ball Box finally arrived.....
geez, I order something on the internet and can't wait 5-7 days. I couldn't imagine waiting 12 months! That a lot of Guiness time....
But it looks as though it was worth the wait!

Re: The 8Ball Box finally arrived.....
Congrats on the new arrivals Tony. I know it had to be rough having to wait that long. But I'll bet it was worth the wait. That Adam puts a fine package together. I've been on the receiving end of one of those myself. Hope to be receiving another soon if I can just get the boss (wife) to see things my way, lol.
Good luck with those gorgeous snakes.

Congrats Tony! Those are lovely looking snakes. You must be thrilled to have them home all tucked up in their enclosures.

Re: The 8Ball Box finally arrived.....
12 months waiting period is a bit longer than usual. Normally it's 6 months-forever lol
Seriously, it's also depend on where the document is applied. Some state send all info to CITES head office quicker than the others. When my exporter applied for re-export CH ball(when I import CH babies earlier this year), it took them 2 weeks. When they applied for CB ball, well it's been 5 months and I still haven't heard a word from them lol *sighs*
The upside of the story is that you have one of the best ball python dudes taking good care of your animals for a year
Seriously I think breeders in the US will have better business with oversea customers if the CITES is not such a pain in the neck.

I think getting CITES is a bit of a crap shoot depending on where you apply. On the UK side of things my import application was turned around in less than a week and in the Republic Of Ireland a Wildlife License application was done in 1/2 a day!!

Thanks Joanna - I am delighted to have increased my collection by more than 100% in one swoop and to have a few morphs in there makes it even better.

Outstanding snakelettes! I'm usually not much of a spider fan, but I do quite like the high white and yellow on yours. =)
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

Very nice critters. I'm getting itchy fingers to open up my box of 8Balls.

Thanks - the Spider is truly amazing and looks even better than I had anticipated. All of the snakes were better than I had expected and hopefully will produce some nice babies in the years ahead.
