The only drawback that I encountered was the small pellets do not sit on my feeding trays (it falls through) and it gets wasted.

I put down a layer of Rodent Chow on the screen and then put some Hog Food on top of that...It doesn't fall through as fast...

I also put a small amount of Hog Food in the box when I clean them.
