    Heat lights aren't really needed with tubs since they hold heat so much better than tanks do. People do heat the whole room if cool side temps aren't high enough but if you have a rack with belly heat installed it should work perfectly for a 32qt tub. I don't know exact measurements of the 32qt but it's definitely smaller than a 55 gallon tank . Male bp's can usually live their whole lives in a 32qt no problem. I believe its the 41qt that can house full grown females. 55 gallons is pretty big - I think switching to a 41qt tub rack would be ideal if you need space - plus bp's don't really need alot of room, in fact they feel more secure in smaller enclosures.
