I was at a local pet place yesterday and they had a red uromastyx in the store that is a baby still. It is a female and from what I have read about as hand tame as can be after being in a pet shop. They had her on a towl but said that was cuz she came in like 30 minutes prior as a surrender. I know they need a 120-130 basking area and cool side of 80-90. I plan to put her on play sand if I pick her up today. They are only asking $30 for her since she is a surrender and I put a hold on her till I could decide for sure. I know the diet is mostly greens and crix maybe 1x a week as a baby and no standing water cuz of tail issues, need uvb which I have and at least 55 gallons as an adult. Any more advice for me?
