Well i do not have any sugar gliders but i do know a few things about them.If you bother her while she is caring for a joey she will kill it in defense of protecting it from you.I suggest you leave her be and wait to see if they have a baby with them one evening.
i'm going to buy her some waxworms too, i guess she'll eat the joey if she doesn't get enough protein
