BRB Rack-Mates?
Ok, so I posted a few days ago to ask a few questions about BRBs. I've decided that I'm going to use a CB-70 Rack. However, I can only find these in sets of 3 tubs, or 7 tubs. 3 isn't enough and 7 is too many. Are there any other snakes that could live with the same temperature requirements as the BRB? I know that they are too low for a Ball Python (they have their own rack). Just looking for suggestions, Thanks!

lol well I had thought of that, but then I thought it might be nice to have a little variety.

Re: BRB Rack-Mates?
I kept ball pythons, carpet pythons, childrens pythons and brazilian rainbow boas all in the same rack before.......
If you setup things properly your possibilities are open to just about any snake out there.

Re: BRB Rack-Mates?
How would you set up the rack to heat two tubs to different temperatures?

Re: BRB Rack-Mates?
Use two thermostats.
Rack ambient tempatures also vary from level to level. The top of the rack is usually warmer than the bottom. Heat rises.

Re: BRB Rack-Mates?
So would I basically need to make my own rack, because the rack that I have now only has one connection to the heat tape. So there wouldn't be a place to plug in two thermostats? Good point about the tubs being different temps. I feel like I'm always fighting the rack to get the tubs as close to the same temp as possible, and this would enable me to embrace tub temp differences....lol
