I was asked to post some of the tips Adamm gave me to get my wc's to eat.

ok...first off...KNOW YOUR BREEDER.

that was a mistake I won't make again.

I was uninformed that I had purchased 2 wc's...though when I got them I noticed a big difference in them compared to the others I have.

They were in QT forever since they wouldn't eat. But where I kept them I had dogs and kids pass by. Not too noisy but still...noise.

So that was my next tip....get them away from all noise.

I was also told to try crumpling up some newspaper in their tubs to make them feel more secure. I did have 2 identical hides in there but they seemed to like the newspaper better.

Then...6-7 months after I purchased them... I found 2 ticks on Shyanne.

I called Adamm and he told me to get PAM and treat their subtrate and tubs. I was also advised to treat all my other snakes enclosures just to be safe.

I picked the ticks off and in a week...they were looking better and moving around way more.

I moved them into my ballroom soon after. I was told to prescent the room for them and since I keep my rats in that room it is always scented.

I put a rat hopper in and Dottie took hers...I put one in Shyannes tub and she took hers!

They haven't missed a meal since.
