Re: What will I do!
Meme, somedays I feel like if I blink or look away, they've grown up on me. It seems just that fast sometimes doesn't it. I look at my own Kate, whose 20 now and out on her own and think "but wait! I'm not done raising you yet! I had more stuff to do and teach you and since when are you a grown woman!"
You'll survive and so will she. I couldn't teach Kate to drive either so Mike helped out with the practise stuff. I'm still amazed if Kate drives me somewhere, sort of "hey wait! you're my baby, who said you could drive! wasn't it just yesterday you refused to take the training wheels off your bike?"
Ohhhhh I'm all misty eyed now.

Re: What will I do!
Well...I made it through the meeting but not without a few tears...they had 2 guest speakers one who was a recent graduate who had been involved in a horrible crash with his girlfriend on I-95 and totalled the car..but they lived.
Then there was a mother...yep..that's where I lost it...Her youngest daughter went out one night to a basketball game and stopped at Baskin Robins to get some ice cream where she cought up with a guy she knew and he asked her for a ride home...He then started bugging her about letting him drive and after a few minutes she said ok...he took 2 turns and lost control on a back road..just so happens to be the same road that I lost 4of my greatest friends in High school...They flew her to Inova where later the next morning she died. It was the most horrible story I have ever heard.
I think Sara took it all in and will learn from tonight..in which case..is a wonderful thing!
I am sure she will do well driving...Se is a great kid and has a pretty good head on her shoulders.

I just really don't wanna teach her how to drive! But...I will.

shes gunna be scared to drive now!!! best way for anyone to learn how to drive is by playing around in the snow in a parking lot. Sliding and stopping and what not.

yea...well we never get any snow so...
but also..she is terrified of sliding...she has been in a few bad accidents.
Eventually she will get that...but for now I think I just want to work on dry pavement.
