    yep! sure is an aru type. got it from gulf coast reptiles and its about a year and a half old. really a great dispostion for a GTP. in my experience, i only have four of these guys, they arent all that nasty. although they do not lend themselves well to daily handling, (i think its a bit stressful for them) occasional handling is not a problem for mine during cleanings, or picture time etc etc. remember, night time is when they eat so HANDS OFF! they are a bit more nippy at night. otherwise, i find the rumours about agressiveness and tremendous concerns about husbandry to be somewhat exagerated. a great place for info is

    Those snakes are very nice. I just love GTPs...gorgeous colors and markings. And the way they wrap up on branches is so cool...

    As for aggression, I think amount of bothering and time of day are factors. I helped out as a trainee with a group of three at the EP zoo and where one didn't really care when the cage was opened, the other two struck out as soon as the key went in the lock! I don't think the boys liked visits.

    very beautiful i was looking into gettin a gtp but i want a blue phase i seen a pic of one once was gorgeous. do u know how rare they are? also nice aru love the white specks and the green is just bright
