    Software for Creating Videos

Can anyone recommend some simple, well made software for creating videos with still images? Where people take their photos, for instance, and put them to music in a sort of slide show, as well as adding other graphics like text and stuff.

Free would be nice...moderately inexpensive is fine. I DO have Power Point and know I could do the same thing with that...but I've never really used it...and I have the newest version of it, which is completely different from what little PP experience I have from the past and it's a total pain in the ass. (I'm totally cheesed off at MS for taking a perfectly good office suite and mucking it up so horribly. ...sorry for ranting off topic! LOL)

If it came with a typical late-model Windows install...then I guess I have it! I'll look, and check out the link. Thanks Deborah!!
