    the middle child...

my middle child turned 14 today. wow, i can't believe it's been 14 years since i held that little blonde haired boy in my arms and kissed his face for the first time.

he looooved kisses. i would kiss him all over his little face and he'd glow! he was the sweetest little baby, so easy... but he loved his mama in bed with him... and he went to bed at 4pm every single day no matter how hard i tried to get him to stay up later. as he got older he'd beg me... "mama, sleeeep now please" until i nursed him and let him go to bed. LOL

now i'm lucky if he goes to bed at all

i spent the most wonderful day with him today. we made 5 cards. one from our youngest daughter, one from my hubby, me and the two dogs. each card had money inside. in total he ended up with $200 and halo3.

i asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, "go out for lunch with you mom" - best gift i ever got let me tell you! so i took him out for lunch and we had a great time. picked up a wireless thing for his xbox 360 so he can go live... and i haven't seen him since we got home LOL

it's been 14 years, and now he's growing up... but today was definitely the best birthday of his for me... cause he wanted to spend time with me and in my world... time is the greatest gift anyone can gift you... as we all have the same 1440 minutes in each day. rich or poor, healthy or sick... we have the same, so when someone chooses to share some of their precious minutes with me... i'm deeply touched.

    what a GREAT day!

happy birth day my dear boy... and a wonderful birthing day to me!

You have 1440 minutes a day... how are you going to spend yours?

Aww Aleesha, tell him Happy Birthday.

I spend every second I can with my little ones. I know if they are anything like me, they be the definition of wild child when they are teenagers. That scares the heck out of me.

Thats awesome he wanted to spend time with you on his birthday. I bet that made you feel so good.

Glad you guys had a good time.
