Re: breedability
Minimum of 3 years old before you breed a female. And needs to be over 12'.
I had a good list of all the requirements a female would need to meet. But I guess I lost it.

Re: breedability
For me I would say 2-3 years.
Some people may disagree with me but thats just my personal preference.
Females 11+ feet. Good health, weight ect.
I am going to be breeding my coastals and my male tic and am going to wait a few years.
No sense in pushing an animal into breeding that is not ready to.
I would rather wait another year than have a bad breeding season because I couldn't wait.

Re: breedability
Typically minimum is 3+ yrs, 12'+... Breeding a female small could have some problems, so it doesn't hurt to wait. Most females under 3 probably wouldn't breed well anyways. Males are typically 18 months before they kick on.
Good luck!

Re: breedability
you can breed them at 18 months of age, but the female needs to be at least 10ft.

Re: breedability
18 months....come on thats really to young to be breeding.
I see a lot of problems with people A. Power feeding to get them up to size fast. and B. Breeding to young.
Better to wait.

I would really like to know your source for this info. All the retic breeders I have talked to, Bob Clark included, said 34 months is the earliest.
