Welcome friend,
I'm a newbie here too, and I just love this site. That is a beautiful snake!!! I'm guessing GTP means green tree python??? Are they much harder to keep than a ball?
I know I could find all the answers if I looked harder but I just like to chat with snake folks.

Yes, GTP require some specialized care when it comes to humidity and temperature requirements and, unlike ball pythons that can be relatively forgiving, green trees can be rather delicate especially as babies.
If you're really interested in having one, I'd suggest finding a local breeder and chatting with them about the care requirements. They are a beautiful snake and one of my favorites.
