I moved my blotched grantie burmese to a new tank that is bigger for her since she has gotten to big for the older one. Gave her 2 weeks to settle in with temps right on and water and everything avabile. I stuck my hand in to find her today since I didn't see her and she jumped out from under her hide and tagged me. It shocked me more then anything really since she's never even acted like striking and she would not let go. I had to pull her out of the tank attached to my finger and still couldnt get her to let go till she clamped harder and I reacted by jerking my hand. My finger is throbbing now and I have cleaned it up but I mean there isnt much of a bite on my finger. NOw just to figure out why she tagged lol.
