What did you do today?

Here was my day off

Woke up. Planned on going to the mall with my mom, or going to an estate sale with my friend. Neither thing panned out. Grained horses, fed chickens. Cleaned all snake tubs that needed it. Cleaned house; put Yule Tree up for Mark and I to decorate tomorrow. Cleaned 2 pretty yucky horse stalls; re-bedded, filled indoor and outdoor water containers for them (de-icers precent freezing.)
Cleaned house. Popped onto BP.net in between loads of laundry and other household chores. Ate a dinner of kluski noodle soup and parmesan cheese
Now: rummaging around online, waiting for hubby to get home.
I love days off! How did you spend your Saturday?

I worked Today. My only day off is Sunday.. If you want to call it a day off lol...

Changed snake waters and spot cleaned, hung outdoor Christmas lights and decorations, cleaned part of the basement and loaded my trailer with junk to go to the dump.

Tonight its off to play cards and drink some beer!!!

I left one of my jobs yesterday (amicable end of a contract) so this was my first actual day off in 3 months!

Slept till 8
Coffee in my recliner
Fed my BP
Read a novel with a cat in my lap
took 1.5 hour nap
went out for lunch with hubby, also bought Xmas cards, a book, some additional Xmas tree lights, and some black Caulk for my new terrarium project.
Home and fed the fish and cats
decorated Xmas tree
worked on terrarium project (caulked the back walls and added coco fiber to the walls)
took shower
played Wii (Resident Evil 4) with hubby - finally completed game!
Dinner
now looking at either playing the extensions of RE4 or switching to a movie on DVD

best day off EVAH!

Got up, had a couple cups of coffee while looking over the forums, went out to get a couple of mice for Kashmire (which are still un-eaten ), and three rats to supplement what I had on hand.

Came back, fed snakes, cleaned rat enclosures, got mice set up in an enclosure, cleaned all the geckos and refreshened food, went to Aldi's (if you have one - it's my favorite grocery store!!! I save so much money there), came home, fried some chicken, and I'm back on the computer for now. May watch some taped shows that I missed this week, and then listen to Reptile Radio tonight.

Well fiance and I were supposed to put up the christmas tree and the hang the lights outside, but neither of those things got done....

Did some online searches of reptile related stuff in the Ohio area.
Played Final Fantasy XII some.
Tinkered with my sewing machine, I can't get it to sew properly.
Got a package in the mail, so I wrote a thank you note.
Watered the snakes and rats.
Took the rats out for some quality time. Watched my pregger one waddle around for a bit before it looked like she decided she wanted to nest on the bed.
Spent quality time with my fiance.
Now watching Harry Potter.

Tomorrow's list is to:

Switch out vivs. for my corn snake.
Clean the mice cage.
Put up the xmas tree and lights.
Tinker more the the sewing machine.

I spend most of the day in the basement; remodeling the room that will soon become my new snake room, my hubby came back home, cleaned the kitchen and prepared a nice dinner.

Woke up at 7:30 a.m. with an INSANE migraine. Drove 100 miles to work. Gave my boss a Dave Mustaine LTD V to auction off at this concert he puts on. I'm still at work as we speak. I'm leaving in an hour to go back to Oceanside tonight to stay with my G/F for the weekend.

Arrived there 9:30 am
Got a Beauty Snake
Came home
Watched t.v, slept and was on the net for the rest of the day...
Yeah, I love Saturdays...

Days off rawk
Tmrw. Mark is off to a friend's to earm some money installing a gas line. I am off to the mall (or should I say "maul?" with the Mom to finish shopping. Today was my quiet country day at home with peace and quiet. Tmrw. Mark and I want to find time to go out and grab a bite to eat too. Everyone is coming out to hunt tomorrow too..
And argh, I have a splitting headache right now!
