    New ratties

Just had my first litter of ratties tonight. I'm super excited, however I was only sure they were pregnant like two nights ago, and then I get home tonight and there are the squeals of a litter of babies. I know that the three together are all pregnant, just not sure how many birthed tonight. I think two so far. Had to hurry and pull the male, and un(lesser)-pregnant female out and relocate them into another tub. What a night. I'm gonna have to get better at knowing there pregnant sooner.

Very cool! What kind of ratties are you raising? Pics are always appreciated around here.

I got used to the look of a pregnant rat awhile ago They lose that "flat" sided look and take on a nice rounded belly. But some do seem to hide it well.. it is funny.

All of these are just plain red eyed whites.

I will definitely get picture up soon. Just been worried about bothering the mommies too much. Had to change the bedding last night and all three mommies had a come apart.
