Different Lines of Red Axanthic

What are the differences between the Woods and SK lines of red axanthic? Are there any visual differences? Are they compatible?

I seem to be one of the rare people who actually really like the het reds and reds. The het red/pastel is gorgeous.

Het red is a morph that adds to other morphs it is mixed with

Considering that Corey Woods got his Het Reds from TSK originally, I doubt there is much difference in the lines at all.

I like'm, no matter whose line they are from.

Realized I didn't finish my comment. I hate having a cold.

I prefer the Snake Keeper line, they tend to have the more irregular look. Of course the hets/reds that Corey Wood produces are very nice as well.

supposedly its the same line. Corey got his original breeders from the snake keepers as interesting looking black backs. It wasn't until he bred offspring back to parents that he discovered the red axanthic trait. In the mean time, TSK had sold their original breeder that had produced Coreys snakes. They weren't able to locate it and buy it back for a few years after Corey had established the line. I think there was a lot of contention there for a while on whether or not TSK had actually located and repurchased the original founder animal so it wasn't known for sure if it would actually produce red axanthics. I think that has been proven beyond a doubt now though.

I did read that they come from the same line however if you look at Corey's stock most are very nicely black backed instead of the broken black back you find many other places. Seems he's been more selective with his breeding.

Well, the reason Corey got them in the first place, was because he wanted to establish a line of black backs, so he bred them to other black back animals. So yeah, they're the same genetic mutation, but showing the results of selective breeding.
