    heat packs?

Okay.. have a question. what are the dangers that could happen with heat packs? please give as detailed an answer as possible. I plan on eventually breeding and am trying to learn as much as possible on all aspects of breeding, shipping offspring being one of them. thanx.

and if you can think of any other dangers during shipping please list them as well, thanx.

well i know that when adam shipped to me, the pack was at the bottom of everything cuase it was acutaly pretty hot. hot enough to where if the snake were to sit directly on top of it for quite some time, i could see it causeing some damage

    Re: heat packs?

there are also some heat packs that use oxygen for the chemical reaction (some of the hand warmer packs, I think). Because of this, you want to be sure and get one that is approved for reptile/animal shipping so that you don't use the oxygen in the box and cause harm to the snakes.

I have also seen shippers tape the heat pack to the box so that it can't move during shipping
