Nate, that kind of attitude is often exactly why some people think folks that live feed snakes are uncaring or just plain strange. I live feed, I raise the rats that I feed off. I get about as much of a "rush" out of watching one of our snakes eat it's rat as I would a cat or dog eating from their food bowl. It's not about some sort of thrill, it's just about feeding an animal an appropriate meal so it's healthy and well cared for. Nothing more than that, at least for me.
