I got a raise!

A big one, too!!!!

I was running our bi-monthly event today---Corporate Culture Day, where we bring in all the new employees, give them free breakfast, free lunch, they get to meet the VPs, get some prizes, etc---and my boss actually came down to the site to give me my reveiw. Things have been so crazy lately that I haven't had time to sit down with her at all, so she decided to come to me.

Anyway, the review went incredibly well, everyone is very pleased to have me on the team---which is good news for me because I love working with them!

She recommended me for a raise... a big one, exactly what I asked for, no negotiating or anything. And when she took it in for approval this afternoon... it was signed, no questions asked!!! More happy bananas!

Lol... seriously, I'm bouncing off the walls. For the first time in a looooooong time, I won't have to constantly be worrying about money. This will also hopefully move things along in the process of me getting my own place---though God knows when I'll find time to move!

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be rolling in money, or anything. But with it just being me and the animals, I can live pretty cheap and start saving some back...or splurge a bit here and there on more kids

Just thought I'd share... I've had an awesome day!

C'mon guys, I'm not going to need help spending it, lol! I've already got a few babies lined up that really need to come home... this may mean that they can soon!

LOL, thanks for the kudos everyone! It's seriously awesome... and yes, Dre, it's so nice to know that they do appreciate all the hard work and long hours I've been putting in. I've been working my ass off to impress them, and it's starting to pay off! Whoot!
