    breeding break

Seem's to me like the slight warm up we've had down here has stopped the mood for the time being, my two pair's have been in together for a couple day's now and don't look like they want anything to do with each other. Is this typical with crazy south florida climate change's?

    Re: breeding break

I am in FL too and I have not had much luck yet this season. So far only 1 male has started breeding for me(out of 6 that I am waiting for). There is a cold front coming next week so I am hoping thats gets them going. I won't really start worrying until January though. Last year my male het lav started breeding early, and was done breeding before my female really started developing good sized follicles. She ended up laying 5 slugs and only one good egg. I am hoping the delayed start will keep my male going a little later in the season this year.

Two of my males already started going for me, I took them out today cause they haven't been interested this week, I'll put them in again when it get's a little chilly done here.
