Personally I feel that the only dumb question is the one that is not asked!! (I think that may be the only thing I retained from Highschool....JK!!). I may not ask a million questions on here, when I first started out here I was one of those that probably read just about every BP husbandry related thread here then joined because I thought that, just from reading all the millions of threads that I did read (it seemed like it anyway..LOL) this seemed like a forum that I could really enjoy and continue to learn new stuff from. And from being a member on here I have found that I continue to learn and enjoy doing so and enjoy spending time here with all the rest of you. Personally, I don't mind answering all the questions that all the new people ask, I really enjoy being helpful to others with what I can. I have posted this one time before in another thread, but I feel that by helping out others even with their questions that have been asked many times before ( and will be asked many more times after) this is my small way of giving back to this site. May be insignificant to some, but answering someones question can really give that new person some sort of relief from worrying or a slight boost in their confidence that they are doing something right. And no, not everyone researches every little detail before buying an animal. But I have to give credit to those that try and do right for their animals by coming here. And there is always the problem that they may have researched elsewhere (on other sites) that by the time they find this place they may be just so confused that it may be just easier to them to just ask their question than to go through a million threads to find their answer. I read a bunch of other sites for info about BPs and it seemed that the more that I read the more that I was confused, what temp? what humidity level? etc. It wasn't until I found this site that my confusion eased and I became certain about how to care for my BP. And like others have said, some of the newer people may not know enough about forums to understand how to use the search function. I was one of those when I first joined, this particular forum set up was a little new to me then. So personally I don't mind seeing the same questions asked over and over again.
