new bp not hiding

i got my bp yesterday and i still havent seen him go hide yet.hes not trying to escape too much anymore and when i woke up this morn he was hiding behind his hide and the water bowl.my sister said she went to see him today and she didnt see him in the tank but she wasnt sure if he was in his hide or not.also he seems to be really active during the day which seems odd to me but he didnt seem to be scared when i changed his water or misted his tank.im pretty sure he will fit in his hides but i dont know if he would go in if he wouldnt fit.also when i mist the tank in the morn it goes up 2 about 70% but when i get home from work its 45% is this ok. thanks

83 cool side 94 hot side 94 inside the hide on the hot side

Maybe if you leave him alone for awhile, He will go in his hide and Relax? You just got him give him a chance to settle in..

The only hide is 94 degrees? You might want to add an cool side hide. Just a thought. Maybe the hide it too hot.

i was thinking thats what it is.i worry too much sometimes.i would think he would hide all the time until he settles in instead of the opposite

he has 2 hides but i dont have a thermo in it.its on the cool side i just have a thermo in there.when i checked the temps last week before i got him it was only 1 or 2 degrees higher than that side
