    Back!

    Did'ja miss me???

Spent a lovely week up in the D/FW area with my In-Laws and all the cousins. We had a lovely Thanksgiving, albeit a bit loud and chaotic with so many little'uns running around. But it was all good.

I hope everyone here had a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday...and if you aren't in the US, then I hope you had a really great Thursday!

As much as I love my extended family....it's so nice to be home again and bask in the quiet of my own house while my kids are at school. And SO good to be back with my BP.net family! I missed you guys!!

Welcome back Judy! It sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving, and now you can rest up a bit before the kids get out of school again for the next round of fun.

    Thanks guys!

Lawrence...our next round of fun will be shopping for glasses for my five year old. Poor little guy...we spent all morning at the optometrist today and discovered he's got some fairly significant vision issues and will have to wear glasses full time. He's all "Uh UH! I don't need no stinkin' glasses!" ~sigh~

Aww... poor guy. At least you caught it now instead of later when he might have difficulties in school trying to read the chalk board... er... white board. There I go dating myself again.

Did you already tell him that Clark Kent wears glasses?

    Re: Back!

Oohhh, Clark Kent! I'll remember to tell him that!

And yeah...kids with glasses don't have it so bad like we did when I was his age. He just hates new things, but he'll adapt.

Ben....moose hunting in Alaska??? Can you squeeze me into your duffle bag??? Not that I'd hunt with anything more lethal than my camera...but still......

    Re: Back!

Glad you're home safe and sound Judy. We did miss your lovely self around this place.

Sorry the little guy has to get glasses but better now so he can do well in school and all that. They make some really cute and sturdy kids glasses these days so I'm sure you'll find something fun for him.

Ben, Alaska is beyond my simple words to describe. Make sure you take tons of pictures, you will not believe some of the views up there. Mind the grizzly bears, they move a LOT faster than you'd believe a bear of that size can move LOL. Moose....*drool*....I miss moose roast, moose burgers, moose steaks. Don't get lost in the bush. You can literally turn around and you're lost, it's just that easy. If you get a chance, gorge yourself on Alaskan salmon...it's....just....beyond....amazing!

ben, stop in at my place on your way!!!

judy, glad to have you back safe and sound when my little one got her glasses a year ago she loved them once they were on her face. she could SEE and she really loves that.

i bet he'll be the same way. she was walking around the house in amazement of what she could see. she even said, "mama i had no idea you are so pretty... i thought you were just fuzzy" LOL
