Aw thanks Gin.. you should see the other 50 shots I take for every good one I get.

And yes, there are albino boas. Do a google search.. you'll find pics. There are also snow boas, and sunglows.

And that pic that was posted above was an emerald tree boa.

Oh wow, Shelby...those are some HOT boas! I love Ophelia, her colors are to die for. And the Hog Island is amazing! I worked with a Suri and a common Red Tail at the old zoo and they were great. The red tail - Chocolate Chip - was 6ft and loved going under shirts between the buttons...fresh snake. The Suri - Tangerine - was 8ft and the most docile boa I ever met. I love boas, but they're too big for me to currently own.

    Anyway... really nice snakes, all.

Re: to those of you who have a large boa

    Thank you for the compliments.

I used to work at a reptile zoo, and one of the red tails, Charlie, would also try to go in my shirt between the buttons when he got tired. He'd just rest there with his head in my shirt.. LOL

Yep, that's what CC did, except he rested his head on my chest under the shirt...right when two of the biggest lady-hunter male keepers were walking by (This was outside as I was doing an educational station)... that was fun...
