Great pics. Especially the first one. How are they to care for? Are they very vocal?

Re: a couple new pics, retf
pat, they are currently housed in a 10gal tank with all live plants (the plants along the top are fake until my real plants grow enough). I have a lamp about 1½" above their enclosure for during the day, temps get to be 85 at the highest during the day at basking spot. At night it gets about 72 at the coolest. I drop crickets in every other day for them and I spray/water plants with spring water only, they also always have access to clean spring water in their shallow water dish. They havnt been here long but so far they are easy keepers. During the day you dont see much except a pale green blob of frog.. but at night they come alive and creep around their enclosure, its quite entertaining.
BluM, to answer your question no, they havnt started calling yet.. from what i understand i should expect that come spring if i have one/two males.. i dont know their sexes as right now. They have been fairly easy to care for, and absolutly beautiful.. I wouldnt mind their care at all because of their looks lol.. sucker over here. They are only visual though, that is a draw back but knowing what risk their lives are at if i handled them is enough to keep me at eyes only... if you can understand that. i have cresties, dragons and a ball to hold instead.
I have found it easier to just plant the plants right into the organic soil in the tank because when they void at least it acts like fertilizer, otherwise i was having to clean more often.. this way its beneficial

Re: a couple new pics, retf
its a wonderful bug to have!!! especially with the dragon in the house, a couple crickets here and there is nothing, like the frogs paid me to take them home they are AWESOME!!! i picked up the pair for $30 from a local supplier, it was either that or 1/$20...affordable, easy to care for, beautiful, how could you not?!

Wow! That first one if awesome. What type of camera are you using? I have never been able to get such clean shots of mine. RETFs are a blast aren't they? I love watching them climb and jump around the tank.

Re: a couple new pics, retf
I have a canon rebel xti, I got it for myself a year ago for Christmas... I have spent over a grand in camera equipment.. but it pays off to me for the pics ive been able to get not only of our critters and outdoors but the photos of my kids are worth it! As Ive said before I do photography as a hobby so I shoot everything in manual. The photos Ive ever taken in auto (see photo of tank) look terrible. Thank you for the compliment and yes, they are awesome critters!
