Hmm... BP's like small tite spaces. Worst thing you could do is try it out for a week and see if he uses it. Maybe a picture would help?

I think it will work for now (for a little bit). The problem is those wont last long. I bought the medium size one, and my young BP's barely fit in it, and those babies grow like weeds!

Looks good to me bro. You'll just have to upgrade in a couple months but it's good to have several different size hides on hand

I have one of those for my spider female. She like to crawl in there and wont come out. I also have the next size up for my male normal who loves it.

Sure That would make it look sick. What I did was I covered the back glass wall with the background, and then the two sides are covered with black foam board to insulate the tank. I think that is an absolute must. I will eventually cover the back with the foam board as well.

Oh and for the top (if yours is a tank with screen top), what I did was, make the foam board a bit shorter (to leave a slight gap on the warm side to let air out), and on the cool side, towards the end I cut a small square out for the lamp. This will incubate and stop your temps from fluctuating.

Re: i think the hides i ordered are too small

ok well i set everything up.i have hot side temps steady with a blue bulb on a dimmer at 92.5 the cool side has a uth with a thermostat it stays at 83 then cuts back on at 80.and the temp inside the hot hide is at 87.5.i covered the top with some aluminum foil and i have a 5 inch water bowl and the humity is steady at 41% so im going to mist the coconut bark substrate to get it up another 10% according to the care sheet the temps i have should be right.ill post a pic once i can fix my computer thanks
