Re: Bearded vs Mountain Horned Dragons

I have been told on beardeddragon.org that what he's doing is normal and with in a couple weeks will pass so I'm not worried lol. It's a funny site to see to. He has never bit just tries to scare us away with his beard and open mouth. I go through about 500 a week on just him since he loves his food and will non stop and then eats most of his greens now. I first got him at 4" so he was a baby and I did get him from a breeder so I hand picked him. He is now 9" or so in shed so prolly a lil bigger then the last time I measured. Every beardie eats different amounts really so just guessing is kinda hard till you have yours at home and eating u out of house and home lol. My guy gives me the same looks when I havent put greens or his crix in by 8 am lol.

Oh yeah, it'll definitely be a year or two before I get one, Probably spring of 09 when I start getting paid for working in the research lab at school, and definitely not until I get a new place. My fiance just talked me into getting another leopard gecko, (I'll put a pic on here soon) MHD are cool looking, but I heard they can be difficult to handle if they weren't handled much when they are little (like most lizards I'm guessing ) the ones we have at work are pretty big. I am definitely leaning towards bearded dragon though. I have enough for monthly costs (God I love my GI Bill!) but it's the initial cage and other setup stuff that I don't have enough for right now. I did have a customer offer me their bearded dragon, with the full setup for $100, but they never came back . Thanks for all the info guys (and girls) I appreciate it.
