    Weekend Projects

I decided that I didn't like the racks I had with the screen mesh top. They were a little hard to slide in and out held NO humidity and little heat. So I spent the weekend building this..a 10 slot 41qt adult rack in my herp room it is waiting on the flexwatt from Rich and then In go the animals

oh and my soon to be upgraded rat rack

I also have precut the materials for a 10 slot 32qt juvi/male rack and a 40 slot 15qt baby rack.

Nah Ed, what you really want to do is jump in the car with your lovely wife and come visit Toledo, OH (and spend the weekend in my basement building me racks of course). I know this to be true...I saw it in my crystal ball.

this kind of crystal ball not the ones like Tom has - though of course Tom if you'd like to send me one of your Crystal Balls - well I'll happily stare at it for hours too!

Yea the tubs I have are not the best they tend to chew out very easy. But I got a good one on the way.

What size tubs are you using for the rat rack? are they the large concrete tubs?

Ed...what tubs are you going with? I have the same issue the rats keep eating holes in the tubs (I have no idea how they manage to eat holes in the solid bottom - when there is no edge...but I keep seeing heads popping out)

I am going to be building a whole new rat rack setup and trying to decide what tubs to use...I am thinking I will need to push the breeder rat numbers up to 100-125 range so planning it out now.

    Thanks
    Sean
