General snake question
I want a lap snake. A take-everywhere-show-to-everyone, not afraid of anything snake. One that wants to be out a lot, one that enjoys being outside occasionally.
What do I get? Out of anything and everything, what should I get?
This is a very noobish question, but I'm all researched-out. Someone just tell me. -lol-

Sorry thier is no such thing as a "lap snake" .To be truthfull its not really a good idea to take any snake out into the general public areas.Enjoy your snakes in your home and show them to interested people in thier enclosures,it will be safer for everyone

ok, guys. You know what I mean. As close as you can get to all that. Obviously I'm not buying a dog. I'm just sayin' ...sometimes my BP can be a stick in the mud. If you know what I mean.

Oh, and as for the "general public areas" thing, I agree. I'd rather not cause mass panic and mayhem. I meant more like, the sidewalk that runs along behind my house. It gets really nice out there. Not many people.

In my opinion thier are no snakes that come even a little bit close to what you are wanting one for .

Re: General snake question
Thanks argentra. That helps. Also, just to clarify, I most definitely exaggerated when I explained my qualifications. I'm not saying I am going to do all of that, I just wanted the general idea understood. Like I said, I know I'm not buying a dog.

Re: General snake question
Well.. I'd say a red tailed boa (BCI are generally calmer) or a dumerils boa is a good bet.
