So my albino male is more or less afraid of the heated side of the tank. If i pick him up and show him the hide on the warm size he curls into a ball, but if I show him the hide on the cool side of the tank he dives right in. Normally I wouldn't care, but the temp of the tank is a cold 74 degrees and the heated hide is 95. I don't know how to heat up the air in the tank without using my heat lamp, but if I do that I can kiss all my humidity good bye...any suggestions?
Said your using a heat lamp correct?
If he's albino he is sensitive to light...could be doing it.
Try a red bulb, or CHE or UTH.
Good luck!
