tank size for baby bp

Here's something to think about. You can go buy a 40 gallon tank, look for one that is short. More floor space than height. And section it off. Like perhaps 1/3 of the tank.

Most breeders keep the babies in a 6 quart tub. We have our little girl in a 12 qt.

ok well i order the uth and other stuff for a ten gallon last night so i will start with that then i will probably go to a 40 gallon when it grows out of the ten and just put a bunch of stuff in it to make it smaller.thanks

is it a screen top tank? if so i don't recommend these, even though i started with them. a 10 gallon will work for maybe 3 months. but seriously, i think an ap or vision would be better. just my opinion.

yes it is a screen top but i plan to cover 3/4 with tin foil like in the sticky post said.i think i might have to start with a 20 gallon because i ordered alot of stuff for it and i dont think it would fit.are you talking about the vision cages from lllreptile?

I would have gone for a 55 gallon breeder tank and put 3 hides in it.
