Re: albinos?
Last I checked, they were around 1000...but that was over a year ago that i was doing my research on them. I haven't taken interest in them since I've picked up ball pythons

why do you say this?
"Why do you need so many snakes?"
"Why do you need so many shoes?"

At expos, they are regularly around 900-1000, depending on the size and sex. I think they are stunning, and I'm glad to have picked up a female at NARBC.

Yes, I'm curious as to the wording of this. You can find Kahl line albinos for around $500... but the average seems to be running a bit higher, somewhere around $750 or so. The prettier ones---corals, pastels, or exceptionally colorful babies---are still going for around $1000.
I feel like most people that are selling them for $500 or lower are trying to simply get them off their hands, or there's something else amiss. It makes me a little suspicious and I doubt I would buy one for a price that low.
The Kahl line albino is used in so many different combination morphs: Sunglows, snows, moonglows, albino arabesques. Some are trying for albino super motleys. Because you need them to make so many other morphs, I don't think you're going to see prices drop too much lower on good albino stock... the prices really haven't differentiated much in the last couple of years, to be honest.
Matt is correct in that there are two lines of albinos: Kahl and Sharp. Sharp albinos are going for much higher prices because they tend to keep their pink coloring long into adulthood... and pass it on to their offsrping. This means that you can have amazing sunglows, etc. Of course, the same can also hold true for amazing specimen of the Kahl lineage.
In short, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for pet quality, you could probably find one out there for $450-550. If you're looking for something to spice up you breeding, or to create combos with... you're still looking at paying close to $1000 for the color.
Hope that helps
