Pic crazy!! New 'rack' setup and others

Ok, I went picture crazy, I admit it... but I just loove my new rack shelving setup and new cage for Aries!

Here's his new adult cage: a visionarium 20L equivalent.


And here's the shelf rack it's a part of:

Mystic is on top (waiting for his 20L adult tank), then Aries, then my plant tank, and storage on the bottom.

Also, in the process of rearranging cages, I redid my fish tank:

That silly goldfish is always hiding, but he's a good 3-4".

Once Nagini's display cage from ReptileBasics gets here, I'll get some more pics up.

Never thought of a "rack" as a rack with a bunch of aquariums on it....to each their own.

That looks great! Very efficient, a lovely display and it takes up very little space I bet. I use something similar to hold my 10 gallon maternity tanks for the female rats. Darn thing cost me maybe $17.00 bucks at WalMart and it's been in daily use for over 2 years. Still strong and stable and a dream to clean.

Thanks. And yep, that's about the same thing, except mine is from Lowes for $20 because I needed one that could hold 20L tanks. It takes up very little room, which is key because we live in a rather small apartment, and Ari loves it ever since I put in a florescent blacklight as Aries night viewing light.

The only tough thing has been regulating the temps, since heat from a shelf below will warm a tank above. Luckily these are corns and they don't care as much about fluctuations as long as they're in the right range.
