    showcase cages

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with showcase cages? I was wondering how they were for holding heat and humidity? Let me know

    Re: showcase cages

I personally don't own any of their cages, but eventually want to get some. Someone was selling one of those cages on ebay & I sent them an email asking the same questions you did. He said that they were great for holding humidiy and heat in. He said easy to clean and he's had every type of setting in the cage. Desert, jungle, etc. I like their design. they incorporated a spot for everything without losing inner space and its stackable to boot. If you can afford it, go for it.

    Re: showcase cages

I would already have one, but I called them and asked if they had any set-up to give me an idea about how they hold heat and humidity and they said no. They have a spot for heat lamp and uth but I was concerned where to put supplimental heat on cool side if u needed it because I keep my house pretty cool. I wish I knew someone that had one so I could ask what size heat emitter they were using and what their temps were on both sides and humidity

well, there is a spot for a strip light and toward the back for a heat lamp. or you could get a radiating heat panel and install that. wish I could help you more, but I'm only going on what that guy told me.
