I think the Rupple line is what used to be called 'stone washed' ? Looking at those last two pics, you can see why, it certainly has a unique look. BTW, is it spelled Rupple or Ruppel?

You sir are correct, they are called stonewashed pastels also and I believe the correct spelling is Ruppel, after Stan Ruppel who started working with the line.
