    New here..EMERGENCY!!!..

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum..and frantically looking for help! I have a 3 yr old BP..Abby is 36" long, 2 1/2 lbs. She's quite thick. I just opened her tank to feed her and discovered she wasn't in there! She escaped during the night last night. I found her in my friggin PIANO. She's wedged in REALLY tightly in the back of it. OMG..i can't imagine how she's going to get herself out. Are BP's stupid enough to get themselves stuck in small places? Or will she eventually get herself free? WHAT DO I DO???

You might not be able to get her out, but she'll be able to... when she's ready. The question is, how will you keep her secure until then, so she doesn't find a new hiding spot in the middle of the night?

No, but they are smart enough to wedge themselves into some place that you can't get them out.

Depending on if you can get to her, sometimes touching thier tail and "guiding" thier head is enough to work them free.

Balls aren't stupid they are an animal and in our care it is up to us to for see problems or issues and head them off. Now if they are housed in an enclosure thats allows them to escape they will in a hurry. Balls love small tight dark places so yea they will wedge themselves in the tightest darkest place they can find whether its a Baldwin full stage grand or an Exo-tera hide.

Can I be 150% sure ... no. I have seen them get wedged into some tight spaces before, to the point I could not move them at all. The kids have been known to let a snake get away into the folding sleeper beds, and have spent a couple hours working them free on more than one occasion. Can you get a picture and post? Maybe somone could offer some specific suggestions.
