    BP's are nocturnal. If the enclosure is in a low-traffic area and you turn out the lights, he will come out at night. We turn on a dim light so we can witness the night wanderings of our BP. Very fun to watch, but you have to be willing to be up later.

    Do you handle your BP? Is he somewhat active then?

    Corn, garter, kingsnakes are all more active, but like Blu Mongoose said, also harder to hold onto when handling them.
