    Different shed types?

Just wondering if anyone else gets their sheds in little rolls? My corns give me nice stretched out whole piece sheds, but my BP leaves hers in a little rolled up wad like a sock that was rolled off...of course making it hard to find. Wanted to know if this was normal or if I just have a weird snake.

I've only gotten the rolled up socks (or maybe it's panty hose..).

no i wouldn't say it's weird. One time it was very helpful...because there was a nice big ol' poo inside the shed...i just picked up the poo with the shed at the same time

    Re: Different shed types?

Hehehe... lucky you. My girl dropped off her poo separately in a corner.

But thanks, good to know that the roll shed is fairly normal. I just wish she wouldn't do it so I could have a nice educational shed to keep.

    Re: Different shed types?

Yeah, we tried with this last one and got it halfway unrolled before it caught and tore. Oh well, I'll just keep trying

And hammerhead: Poo typically is dark and tube-shaped...like any other animal poo, and usually has a white/yellow powdery urate at one end or nearby. Size varies a great deal from a tiny pellet to a log as big around as the snake. Sometimes it can have a furry look from the bits of undigested fur, but it always should look like poo.
I believe if you do a search, some people have posted pictures here and there on the forums

    Re: Different shed types?

If you get the shed wet, you can unroll it without tearing it. Put it in some warm water and gently roll it back out.
